Outside my window... it is getting dark.

I am thankful for... my cRaZy cousins!

I am wearing... my pajamas and socks.

I am remembering... how much fun I had on Thanksgiving Day!

I am creating… a set of three wooden nativity nested egg dolls.

I am going... no where tonight

I am reading... a new book I started in school today, "In Search of Honor" by Donnalynn Hess

I am hoping... to start wrapping some presents soon.

On my mind... that tomorrow is the first day of December.

From the learning rooms… Bible, math, English, spelling, art, reading, history, etc.

From the kitchen… for supper we are having: shepherd's pie and applesauce. YUM!!

Around the house... my brother is reading and the Christmas tree lights are on.

One of my favorite things: watching Christimas movies with my family!

A few plans for the rest of the week: school, groceries on Thursday, a Christmas dinner at church Saturday, and church on Sunday.

Outside my window... rainy and a high of mid 40's.

I am thinking... I can't wait until Thanksgiving Thursday!

I am wearing... my floral pajamas and black socks.

I am remembering... the Thanksgiving dinner we had at church yesterday.

I am creating… nothing right now.

I am going... no where today. Going to my Grandma's and Grandpa's house Thanksgiving Day.

I am reading... a Nancy Drew book called: "The Sign of the Twisted Candles."

On my mind... Thanksgiving dinner.

From the learning rooms… no school this week.

Noticing that... the holidays are coming fast!

From the kitchen… chicken fried rice, green beans, and carrots

Around the house... we are starting to decorate for Christmas. Boxes of decorations are everywhere!

Day 18

I am thankful... that I can see, hear, smell, touch, and taste.

Day 19

I am thankful... that I finished the book "Stowaway" today. It was boring!

Day 20

I am thankful... that I found a whole row of Nancy Drew books at our library's used book sale for 50 cents a piece! I now have 58 of them!

I am thankful... that my daddy has a job to work at.

I am thankful... that I was born to a Christian family.

I am thankful... that my mom has been able to stay home and take care of my brother and me.

Outside my window... it is sunny and 63 degrees.

I am wearing... my white floral pjs, socks.

I am remembering... all the work it took rearranging the furniture in the livingroom over the weekend.

I am going... into town with my family today.

I am reading... for school I am still reading: Stowaway

I am hoping... that it snows at my house for Christmas!!!

On my mind... that I can't wait until Thankgiving!!!!
From the learning rooms… Bible, math, English, spelling, reading, art, etc.

Noticing that... the oak trees are losing their leaves and are almost gone.

Pondering these words... The Lord your God is the faithful God who for a thousand generations keeps his promises and constantly loves those who love him and who obey his commands. DEUTERONOMY 7:9

From the kitchen… for supper we are having: Baked chicken with potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery baked around it. YUM!!!

Around the house... the livingroom is all rearranged.

Outside my window... it is dark out

I am wearing... a purple and white striped shirt, jeans, and black and pick socks.

I am remembering... going to the mall yesterday, seeing the decorations and lights.

I am going... no where tonight. I just back from the library.

I am reading... "The Kidnapped Prince" by Olaudah Equiano, "Stowaway" by Karen Hesse, "The Arrow Over the Door" by Joseph Bruchac.

I am hoping... that I get a camera for Christmas, so I won't have to use my mom's all the time.

On my mind... That I'm HUNGRY!!

From the learning rooms… Bible, Math, English, Spelling, Reading, Science, History, Art, etc.

Noticing that... that it's getting dark earlier.

I am hoping... that we can go to my Grandma's and Grandpa's house Saturday
