I am thankful for... a warm house to live in.

For Today… Monday, November 2, 2009

Outside my window... Sunny and a high of 58 degrees

I am thankful for... a warm house to live in

I am wearing... my red nightgown and white knee socks

I am remembering... the harvest party we had Saturday. It was very fun!

I am creating… nothing right now

I am going... to get a haircut tonight

I am reading... the same book as last week, "Process Of Elimination"

I am hoping... that we can go to my Grandma's and Grandpa's house Saturday

On my mind... in three weeks it will be Thanksgiving Day

From the learning rooms… Bible, math, English, science, history, art, reading "Escape Across the Wide Sea"

Noticing that... that it's starting to get colder out - winter is on its way!

Pondering these words... The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land... You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. ISAIAH 58:11 

From the kitchen… for supper we're having baked chicken, sweet potatoes, and green beans. YUM!

Around the house... Thanksgiving decorations have been put out.

One of my favorite things: Sweet Potato pie!

A few plans for the rest of the week: school, haircut tonight, groceries on Thursday, maybe going to Grandma's and Grandpa's house Saturday, church on Sunday,

Outside my window... it is still dark. It's supposed to be sunny and a high of 62 degrees.

I am thinking... about the harvest party coming up this weekend!

I am thankful... that I am starting feel better after having bronchitis this past week.

I am wearing... my white, floral pajamas, black socks

I am remembering... the good movies we watched on the Hallmark channel over the weekend.

I am creating… nothing right now.

I am going... no where until Thursday.

I am reading... a Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Super Mystery called: "Process Of Elimination"

I am hoping... that we can carve our pumpkins tonight!

On my mind... that in two months from today it will be THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!!!!

From the learning rooms… I am starting a new book, "Escape Across the Wide Sea" by Katherine Kirkpatrick.

Noticing that... I'm not coughing as much! YAY!!!!

Pondering these words... He surrounds me with loving-kindness and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. PSALM 103:3-5

From the kitchen… Bacon cheeseburger pasta and fried squash! YUM!!

Around the house... The heaters are running on a cold, frosty morning, candles are burning in the livingroom, and my dog is fast  asleep - and I wish I was. It is too early in the morning!!

~ SICK ~

What a week I've had! I started having a cough at the beginning of this past week and it hasn't gone away. UGH! I went to the doctor yesterday and I have bronchitis. The doctor gave me some medicine, so hopefully I will feel better soon, and stop this coughing!
