BE WHO YOU ARE!

Today I started a devotional called, The Christian Girl’s Guide to Being Your Best, by Katrina Cassel. It’s for young girls my age. Today I read about two girls and one wanted to be just like the other one when she grew up, because she thought she was pretty, smart, talented, and the best cheerleader.

The other girl just told her that she just did the best she could with what she had. That if you do the best you can with what you have for GOD and for others and for yourself, you’ll be successful no matter what you do.

The other girl wasn’t sure about this. She thought what if she did her best and it wasn’t good enough.

But, then her friend said “It would make you successful in GOD’s eyes. He doesn’t judge you by your looks or talents or by how smart you are.” All He wants is your best.

BE WHO YOU ARE!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

His Way is Perfect!

My memory verse this week is:

Psalm 18:30

As for GOD, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

My memory verse and timeline

This is my memory verse I'm learning for school:

For you are my lamp, O Lord;
The Lord shall enlighten my darkness.
For by you I can run against a troop:
By my God I can leap over a wall.
2 Samuel 22:29-30

These are a few pages out of my history timeline. The ones showing are the ones from Bible times...

Today I got caught up with putting in pictures in the order they should go.

The timeline goes from the beginning of time to now. I also added Thomas Edison to his page today. I just finished reading about him. Now I'm starting to read about Henry Ford.

In Bible I just finished reading about Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz.

I like keeping a timeline. I like looking back through it to see who I've learned about, and seeing where they fit in time.
